Changes in V1.1.0
Playback and Record are the major update to this firmware. Click here to learn more about the feature.
Ronin 2
Ronin 2 scaling would double when in range mode. This has been fixed.
Added channel limits to S.Bus Pan/Tilt/Roll channels to avoid a unique behavior with the Ronin 2. At some higher speeds, the Ronin could ignore Pan if Tilt exceeded an arbitrary threshold or vise versa. This has been accounted for in our signal monitoring to prevent this behavior.
Bug Fixes
Various bugs have been patched across the system.
Changes since V1.0.4
App Changes
[RECOMMENDED FOR ALL BIG SUR USERS] Added new Advanced > Remove All Drivers for users to clean their system of old drivers.
Ronin 2 Direction Fixed (again).
Third Axis
[New Feature] Dampening
Dampening is a cap on camera accelerations and decelerations. If wheel inputs exceed the threshold, the system will takeover to keep the acceleration or deceleration smooth. It happens instantly and virtually invisibly.
Dampening has the advantage of an immediate and direct response from the head, but has the disadvantage of sacrificing repeatability if it is triggered. It does not sacrifice limits.
Smoothing has the advantage of repeatability
[New Feature] Limits
The limits have + and - directions that correspond to the digital direction of the head. Use the Position readout to see which direction the wheel moves as corresponding to the +/- change in values.
API Bug Fixes
The API in 1.0.4 was rejected incoming data from the client device. This has been resolved.
