Unreal Engine Plugin for virtual production.

This plugin has been retired.

Setup Wheels

  • Update Inertia Wheels and Receiver

    • You need to update BOTH receiver and wheels

  • Plug Receiver into computer via micro USB cable

  • Configure Inertia Wheels

    • Set Menu > Output > Remote Head to IW-VP

Setup Unreal

  • Move the .ZIP file into the Plugins folder in your Unreal project.

    • If it doesn’t exit, create a folder called Plugins in the same folder as the .uproject file

  • Unzip the file directly in that folder.

  • Open your unreal project.

  • Enable the plugin

    • Edit > Plugins

    • In the left pane of the window that appears, scroll down to the Project section

    • Select the Inertia Wheels plugin.

    • Check the Enabled box under the NODOLiveLink

  • Open the Live Link pane

  • Click the green “+ Source” button

  • Scroll down to NODOLiveLink

    • As you hover over it, a COM port selection will appear.

    • Enter the COM port of the Receiver, such as “COM3”

      • If you do not know the com port, use Windows Device Manager to look for “CP2102N…” under ports. There you can find the port number. It should mount to the same port each time. Usually.

    • Click OK

  • Open the Content Browser

  • Browse to the NODOLiveLink Content folder

    • If you don’t see it, right click on the window pane and make sure “Show Plugin Content” is checked.

  • Double click the BP_NODO to see the blueprint

  • Drag the BP_NODO on to the scene to add a camera that the wheels control
