    • The (i) icon would go red when in hardwire. This has been fixed.

  • Third Axis

    • [New Feature] There is now Smoothing for the Third Axis

      • This will average values from the past to generate a smoother response.

    • Occasionally, the (i) icon would go red when using the Third Axis. This has been fixed.

    • [New Feature] Third Axis menu items such as Speed and Neutral are now assignable to the dashboard

  • Ronin 2

    • Default tilt direction has been corrected.

  • Effects

    • When first turning on effects, the gimbal could jump. This has been fixed.

    • Pan/Tilt/Roll Windows now work properly.

    • Reset is now “Off/Reset” and works properly.

  • Dashboard Menu

    • When selecting shortcuts, menu now shows the parent menu name for each shortcut item.

  • Dashboard

Updater App

  • Now pushes some Inertia Wheels data to NODO’s server to help assist in bug tracking and quality control.

Changes since V1.0.0

  • Updater App

    • For macOS users, the app now has a driver scan under Advanced > Driver Scan.

    • You can copy and paste this text and email it to us to help us troubleshoot potentially conflicting drivers.

  • Bug Fixes

    • System-wide stability improvements

    • Fixed a bug with Third Axis where packets per second would drop to ~60.

    • Fixed a bug where motors would fail to update

    • Fixed a bug caused by our packet loss correction. Gimbal could jitter or change orientation quickly. Packet loss correction has been removed.

  • Features

    • Wheels menu has been renamed “Pan/Tilt”

    • Roll Menu

      • Roll menu has been moved to the top level of the menu system now.

      • A new Mark as Level button allows you to set your current roll position as your “level” position

      • A new Move to Level button will tell the gimbal to move back to level. This works much better on Ronin 2 than the previous Roll Reset button.

    • Power off must now be held for 5 seconds to turn off

    • New style of alert pop-up

    • New System Report screen under System > System Report

      • This screen will show you what the “i” icon means.

    • New Effects Dashboard

      • This is still a work in progress.

      • Reset now works

    • When you open a menu item to change it, “Set” is now button 3, “Cancel” is now button 4. This is to keep button 4 consistent as a back/cancel key.

  • Ronin 2 Changes

    • New Ronin 2 Settings menu

      • Control the Profile between User 1 and Default (likely requires latest R2 firmware)

      • Call Follow Mode, Free Mode, or Recenter Mode

  • Potential Ronin 2 Bug

    • We are hearing a few occasional reports of the R2 switching modes sporadically. These reports are rare, but we are monitoring them. It this occurs with you, please report it and as many details of the circumstances as possible.

    • With the latest Ronin 2 firmware, it is possible for the R2 to misinterpret Inertia Wheels packets to unintentionally swap between Default/User 1 and Follow/Free/Recenter Modes. If this occurs, we suggest checking the cable/dongle between the Receiver and the R2. Additionally, we suggest configuring both Default and User 1 profiles to be duplicates to match the Ronin 2 Settings Chart. This will prevent any sudden changes in settings.
