Notice: M1 Mac Users Experiencing RX Update Failure

Some users may experience an issue updating their Receivers on an M1 Mac. The primary symptom is that the Inertia Wheels will be able to update, but the Receiver will fail. The issue is limited to certain units and certain computer models.

If you experience this issue, please contact support by using Help > Chat with Support. We will officially diagnose the issue and provide a resolution.

Changes in V1.2.0

This update includes several key new features as well as a reworking of the menu system.

Menu Operation

  • Menu items that are single press now show you a quick flash of blue color to indicate successful press.

  • The user buttons are now available to use to enter and confirm menu items so the jog wheel is not necessary.

Dashboard

  • The Speed settings can now be replaced using the Dashboard menu. As a result, all three dashboard settings are available for presets. Speed settings for Pan and Tilt are available in the Pan/Tilt menu.

Help Feature

  • Menu items now include “Help” QR codes to access helpful information online about the feature.

  • All available help features can be viewed here.

Shake

  • Aggressive Shake is now available.

LOS Bridging

  • A new feature for LOS (Loss Of Signal) Bridging is available. Read more.

Revamped Wheel Engine

  • Pan/Tilt now use the same software engine developed originally for the Third Axis.

  • Adaptive Dampening is available. Read more.

  • Smoothing is available. Read more.

  • Limit Behavior is now more conventional with a “Slip” option. Read more.

    • Limit Behavior: Motor Stop is not available in this release.

  • Limit Softening may be too aggressive.

MōVI Pro

  • Rate mode has now been fixed. If using rate mode, be sure to adjust the joystick settings in the Freefly app as they are utilized with the Rate mode.

Bug Fixes

  • Various bugs have been patched across the system.
